User-Centred Design for a better Case Management solution

At Locality, we believe in creating purpose-driven solutions. We’ve been working with customers and end users on designing and developing our web based case management system.

By adopting a user centred design approach, and utilising  a set of user experience tools, we were able to experience the working ways of our end users, gain an insight on how they interacted with their customers and understand sector trends and challenges.

More importantly, we were able to understand how our users were using systems and how they really wanted to use systems to be able to deliver a rich user experience through simpler and more intuitive screens both on desktops and mobile devices.

Designing Systems for Supporting people

The ability for Locality to co-design with end-users from various niche areas within the public sector has led to the development of an innovative case management solution that supports partnership working, collaboration and information sharing in real-time to help improve services like refugee resettlement.

The solution has been built to ensure flexibility and adaptability through modules like Workflow and Forms builder, allowing for our customers to embed business processes that may need to change in the future to align with new legislation, compliance, funding and various other circumstances that may have an effect on refugee resettlement processes.

Through appropriate research and working directly with end-users, we at Locality Solutions intend to continue co-creating and co-designing fit for purpose solutions with public sector bodies and not for profit partner agencies to help joined up working for better quality public services.
